Full Stack engineer

We are currently looking for a full-stack C# / JavaScript developer for our Paris office.

Requirements
  • Proficiency with C#
  • Proficiency with Javascript (vanilla)
  • Experience designing web-services with C# and ASP.NET

  • Good knowledge of IIS
  • Good oral and written communication in English

Description

The main role will be to integrate a development team to work with us on our range of survey software applications. You will develop and maintain C# web-services, implement web interfaces in JavaScript (currently using the ExtJS framework).
Even though this position is for our Paris office, our dev team is located in several of our offices (Paris, London, Brussels and Colombo); therefore, good oral and written English is required.

Development project manager

We are currently looking for a project/team manager with strong development knowledge for our Paris office.

Description

The main role will be to integrate and manage a development team (8 in-house developers and 3 external developers). The secondary role will be to take part in the development and maintenance of our survey software applications.

  • Phone, email, and in-person technical assistance
  • Remote and on-site training and installations
  • Pre-sales support (demonstrations and presentations)

  • One (1) year Market Research software expertise (survey scripting and/or data processing)
  • Knowledge of data collection and data processing techniques
  • Knowledge of web scripting (HTML, CSS)
  • Knowledge of programming (VBA, JavaScript)

Askia‘s dev team is currently seeking a candidate who has a huge passion for software development. We’re looking to find a quality .NET programmer / developer for a permanent position.

The position will involve building and maintaining C# web services as well as implementing the front-end in JavaScript (using ExtJS) for our software suite. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining these applications alongside our team of developers in our Paris office (even though we will also consider applications for our London office).

Required skills

Askia opens office in LA and now hiring!

Askia has set up a new office in Los Angeles. The office is the second for Askia in the United States, reflecting the growth of the company’s survey software business and demand from marketing research agencies for specialised, innovative software solutions.

Jamey Corriveau, Director of U.S. Operations, will head up the new office. Jamey is currently hiring both client service and technical support staff to provide expanded customer care.

Corriveau has worked for over 25 years in the survey and market research industry, with 14 years at SPSS Inc. His roles have reflected a variety of business and technical responsibilities, including Operations Vice President, Director of Product Marketing, Manager of Solutions Architects, and Systems Engineer. He has extensive experience and knowledge of the business issues facing today’s market researchers and is a frequent speaker at market research industry events.

Askia’s New York office will continue to support clients in the region, with both offices providing coast-to-coast coverage for Askia’s users.
