Announcing a dashboard app partnership with E-Tabs

We’re thrilled to announce a new strategic partnership which sees two industry leaders combining their vast skills, experience and resources to develop a revolutionary dashboard designer application for market research.

The two companies have been empowering the Market Research industry for over 20 years with E-Tabs at the forefront of market research reporting and visualization, and Askia providing state-of-the-art software for surveys and analysis.

The web-based dashboard designer, available as a standalone tool or linked seamlessly with Askiavista analysis software, will be a genuine game-changer. Askia is back at Insight Show

The Insight Show strikes back in 2017: new date – 8th & 9th March, new location – Olympia West, and a brand new event organisation. Askia couldn’t miss this opportunity to come back to this major event as an exhibitor once again.

The timing couldn’t be better as we have a wealth of new developments to share with visitors. For starters, we’ll be showcasing our brand new stand layout, reflecting Askia’s new identity; we will also bring our uber-cool Engager for a refreshingly interactive experience; our fantastic sales team will be on hand for live demos and to discuss Askia’s latest product releases and developments.

Askia is changing: new digital identity

As initiated a couple of months ago in our “Askia’s mission, vision & values” blog post in which we mention the elements we have been processing over the past year (Askia’s 20th birthday!): our team has gathered to help (re)define our core statements.

In order to help us and you our clients, partners, friends, … better feel the revival of our aspiration as a business, Askia’s visual identity has undergone the same process over the past year.

We examined, reexamined, broke, rebuilt and finally achieved in evolving our brand identity without ever losing sight of our roots. From our logo to our brand colour palette, from our application icons to our print material, … we have completely redesigned our visual language in order to better mirror who we are now and where we are heading.

We have therefore began to rollout this new identity throughout our digital presence: website, blog, help centredocumentation.

Askia party at New Orleans’ ESOMAR Congress

A quite substantial contingent from Askia will be attending the ESOMAR Congress on September 18-21 at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans, LA. For those of you who plan to attend, we’ll be at booth #6 in the exhibition space, where we hope you’ll swing by to see us.

The other bit of significant news is that, true to tradition, we’ll be hosting a party immediately following ESOMAR’s Welcome Reception. Details are as follows:

Askia reporting back from Printemps des Etudes 2016

The Askia team just returned from Printemps des Etudes 2016, which was held this year again at prestigious Palais Brongniart in Paris on 15th and 16th April. Askia was on stand #5 – very fitting for the 5th edition of this event which has asserted itself as the definitive market research show in France. We’re happy to report that this 5th edition was very successful, with perhaps the best traffic of the whole 5 years on Thursday.

To mark this milestone, the organisers had invited Martin Sorrell who kicked-off the event with a keynote on the state of the market research industry. A thought-provoking conference in English with simultaneous translation, it was the perfect introduction to 2 days filled with conferences, workshops and rendez-vous.

Meanwhile in the exhibition area, the Askia stand focused on a topic that is at the heart of everything we do: innovation. Visitors were intrigued by “The Engager”, a giant touch screen tablet which the team used to demo our best-selling products such as AskiaVista, or to give a sneak preview of our future releases e.g. Design 6.

When not giving a demo or organising an impromptu meeting, our team spent their time catching up with clients over a glass of champagne and canapes and collecting business cards for our very special prize draw, which was held on the stand on Friday afternoon. Congratulations to our 3 winners:

  • Mathieu DOMBRIE from BVA, the happy winner of a Samsung Galaxy Tablet
  • Karl- Heinz Baumann, from the IPI Institute in Stuttgart, winner of a connected smart watch
  • And Cyril LOPEZ from ETIC Alta, who won a Max Jumping Race mini-drone

Verve adopts Platform One

Community Panels specialists, Verve, founded in 2008 and with offices in London, Leeds, Chicago and Toronto, conducts full-service market research whether it be online, offline, qual, quant or mobile.

By utilizing the power of their clients’ Community Panel assets, Verve provides online spaces where dialogue with customers can take place. This could be small Community Panels of say 50-100 panelists, permanent spaces of 100,000 or more, and everything in between.

Verve’s Technology Director Amyas Peto told us that Askia’s advances into panel management systems with Platform One, the first genuinely unified Insights Management Platform, have had an enormously positive effect on their business. He said that “being able to fully automate the collation of all survey and profiling data, as well as website data, into a single, central location, along with the significantly enhanced data querying that this allows, has had a huge impact on our efficiency and the level of service we are able to offer our clients.”

Askia party at the Quirks Event!

Askia will be attending the Quirks Event on February 23rd and 24th at the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge in New York. We’ll be at booth #12 with members of our New York, Los Angeles, Paris & London teams!

As usual, we’ll be showcasing our portfolio of survey authoring, data collection and analysis apps and we’ll be looking forward to meeting you there.

MRS Annual Awards 2015

Every year the great and the good of the UK market research industry get together for an extremely glitzy awards evening which is always a fantastic event but this year the MRS surpassed themselves at Supernova in the heart of London; Askia was there as a sponsor and party goers along with 850 others out for a great night and what a fantastic night it was too.

The awards are, and I quote, “…to celebrate research’s ability to drive innovation, inspire change and deliver results. Evidence matters and the MRS Awards are proof positive of the power of research.

There were 23 different awards categories and we’re delighted to say that Askia clients Hall & Partners were winners of the award for Technology Innovation & Effectiveness and we had finalists in other categories for Verve, TNS UK and KPMG Nunwood. It’s fair to say that we are immensely proud of them.
